Born into a family of dirt-lovers, The Chamois Hagar is a wildly fun gravel bike that takes shredding cues from its full-suspension siblings.

This is a gravel bike that mountain bikers actually want to ride. It’s designed to crush long distance, grueling adventures over all kinds of terrain, all while satisfying the Evil thirst for aggressive riding.

Evil calls the Hagar, among many things, “the Following of Gravel.” This bike was designed from the ground up as a mold breaker, a destroyer of all things off-road, and one that the team of hard core trail riders at Evil would see as one of their own.

Why is the Hagar so special? Glad you asked.

When was the last time you saw a 66.7 degree head angle on a gravel bike? The geometry offers performance characteristics that are more reminiscent of a super stable trail bike than a rigid and jerky road bike with wider tires.

A shorter stem, longer reach, a dropped bottom bracket, and 430mm chain stays all combine to help the Hagar ride big descents and chunky terrain with speed and confidence.

With tire clearance for 50c, you’ll enjoy serious off-road capability wherever you choose to ride it. Go a bit narrower and you’ve got yourself a bombproof ride that will get you to work during the week and to the top of the mountain on the weekend. It’s also got mounts aplenty for endless bikepacking potential and the versatility to run the setup that suits you best.
